About

WOMEN WORK OUT is a South London based company offering group and Personal Training specifically tailored to women’s health and fitness.

Our classes are designed specifically for women because of the specific needs that women have when getting fit – they’re not about competing to see who can lift the most, they’re about toning, fitting back into jeans you’ve wanted to wear for years, getting rid of baby tummy after pregnancy, ensuring expectant mums stay strong and fit plus strengthening and working on muscles that need it most! We also work on helping to improve your all-over wellbeing, we don’t just focus on burning calories.

Men and women tend to work out in very different ways and Women Work Outs’ classes are co-operative, rather than aggressive. From time to time there is still an element of competition there that helps to keep everyone motivated!

Some ladies may wish to have some additional or opt solely for one to one training where an exercise programme is designed specifically for you. You can find more information on the Personal Training page.

We are realistic about what real women want to look like and how they want to feel and know how to help you achieve that. So, whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who’s keen to take their training that one step further, we can help you. And we’ll have some fun while we do it.

Come and meet the Trainers at Women Work Out.

  • Alice Becker

Hi, I’m Alice, Head Trainer and founder of Women Work Out.  In 2010 I trained to qualify as a Level 3 Personal Trainer from the European Institute of Fitness and in 2012 gained specific qualifications in pre and post natal exercise.

I have been working specifically with women for six years now and in pre-natal/post-natal exercise for five. Women’s fitness, health, nutrition and weight management is something I feel passionately about.

From one Mums & Buggies class back then, I’ve expanded to five at the request of the women I work with. Similarly, the Ladies Who Lunge class has expanded to four classes a week and I love seeing women in that class achieving their goals of everyday fitness and wellbeing.

When training women on a one-to-one basis, I enjoy pushing my clients to the edge, but not over it, and supporting them through their fitness journey.

  • Lettie King

Hi my name is Lettie.  Alice and I share the same passion for training and helping women achieve their goals.  When the opportunity arose for us to work together I jumped at the chance.

I started my  working career in advertising and switched when my love for training took over my everyday job. As a result I really understand the pressures that women feel about their bodies and the demands that the modern world places on them, especially when pregnant or post bubba.

I have my level 3 personal training qualification, plus specialist qualifications in pre and post natal exercise too.

Whether on a 1:1 or a group level, I love working with women and helping them realize their potential. I’m a strong believer that you get back what you put in and love seeing the results of great team work.
